From a young age, I knew I wanted to be a journalist and have worked towards that goal ever since.

As a college student, I pursued 10 editorial internships and founded the club Society of Collegiate Journalists, connecting students with leaders in the industry.

I received my first position out of school at Sunset Magazine as an editorial intern. I worked in the grit of the company, updating content through WordPress, doing SEO research, producing affiliate articles, sourcing photos, and more. I worked my way up to an editorial assistant where I managed and produced the travel newsletter through the platform Sailthru that was sent out to 64,000 people every week. At Sunset, I wrote over 55 articles ranging from travel guides, listicles, how-to’s, profiles, and more.

Currently, I am a freelance journalist.
